Barn. Early Cl7. Timber frame weatherboarded on brick plinth.
Steep corrugated iron half-hipped roof. Lean-to rising over door
on N. Tall 5-bay single-aisle barn facing N. N aisle. Double
doors in middle bay on each side. Heavy jowled post, long curved
braces to tie-beams and arcade plates. Inclined queen-post roof
with collar and clasped purlin at 2 levels. Straight tension
bracing in walls. Face-halved bladed scarf joint in wall-plate
over post.
