House. Early C18, altered in C19. Plum brick with red brick
dressings and steep red tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3
windows wide house, raised above street and facing E.
Symmetrical E front with a hipped dormer with heavy cornice in
centre of roof, bold wooden moulded eaves cornice with mutules,
floor band and projecting plinth. Flat gauged arch to central
wide window now blocked. 2 2-storeys tilehung canted sashed bay
windows with dentilled cornices, symmetrically disposed, in
positions of original windows. Central entrance blocked and
transferred to S side when rear wing added. Internal gable
chimney on S, external on N flanked by tile hanging to upper
storey.
