2 houses adjoining. C18 or earlier. Timberframes, plastered
upper floor to No 3, white weatherboarding elsewhere. W end of
No 3 screened by tall flint wall where it faces into The White
House's garden. Old red tiled roof hipped at W. No 3 has 2-
light flush casement windows with small panes to 1st floor, and 3
similar fixed windows to Ground floor, with continuous drip board
over. Flat hood on brackets to door. No 5 has 2 2-light flush
leaded casements to 1st floor, and 2-light small paned Ground
floor windows. 6-panel raised-and-fielded door with flat hood on
pierced brackets. A picturesque group.
