GV II
House. C16 or early C17. Timber frame on tarred flint sill
repaired, and rebuilt at W end, in red brick. Roughcast with
dark weatherboarding to W end, rear of E crosswing and lower part
of rear wall. Steep old red tile roofs. Crosswing C20 red-brick
lean-to extension on E end hipped at rear with gables. A T-plan
former hall-house with E crosswing jettied to front on 3
brackets, gabled dormer over hall range, and internal W gable
chimney. One window to each part. Flush casement windows. A
small picturesque jettied house formerly called The Old Vicarage.
