House, now a shop. Early C19. Yellow brick with stucco floor
bands. Similar brick facing to N gable to Church Street exposed
by demolition. White weatherboarded rear parts. Slate roofs. A
tall 3-storeys townhouse facing W. Double-pile plan with central
entrance and internal gable chimney at N. 3 windows wide
symmetrical front with box eaves and band, square 2nd floor
windows, stucco band above deeper 1st floor windows, and deeper
band over wider Ground floor windows. Recessed sash windows with
margin lights, plastered reveals and flat gauged arches. Low
stucco plinth. Recessed half-glazed panelled door in panelled
reveals, with bi-symmetrical mouldings to pilasters, full
entablature, and flat hood on cut brackets.
