House. C17 or earlier, C18 N bay. Timber frame roughcast with
steep thatched roof. Weatherboarded and shingled outbuilding
extends in line to N. Old red tiled porch. A 2-storeys, 3-
cells, central chimney, lobby-entry plan house, facing E with
one-bay N extension with a second central-chimney and lobby-
entrance. 3 windows to 1st floor, and 4 to ground floor with a
door between each pair, and a gabled porch to LH door. Small 3-
light, flush casement windows, renewed with leaded lattice
glazing. Upper windows under the eaves. 3 plank doors and narrow
windows to outhouse. House has 2 plank doors with dripboards on
shaped brackets. Side-purlin roof structure. Large open
fireplace and crossbeams in hall with stair beside stack.
