GV II

House. Early C18, later extended to rear. Small 2 storeys, 2
windows, timberframed house facing N and set higher than the
road. High rendered brick plinth. Steep old red tile front
slope to roof, but rear slope has been raised and extended out as
a catslide over a 2 storeys rear addition. Internal gable
chimneys. Symmetrical painted roughcast front with flush box
sash windows with 6/6 panes and moulded architraves. Central 4-
panel door in heavy frame with matching architrave and dripboard
on shaped brackets. Gable walls weatherboarded. An interesting
small C18 house. Part of a picturesque mixed group facing the
Plume of Feathers P H.
