House. '1864' on quatrefoil datestone on front gable.
Picturesque, Gothic, one and a half storey and single storey, red
brick, estate house built by Gilston Park Estate under John
Hodgson. Single storey range with large cross wing on W. Steep
old red tile roofs with heavy moulded bargeboards, tall chimneys
with moulded caps and bases. 2-light tall mullioned wooden
windows with cast iron lattice casements, gauged flat arches and
flush stone sills. An interesting Gothic estate house. Part of
group facing the Plume of Feathers P H.
