House. Late C17 or early C18, C18 or early C19 rear extension.
2 storeys, 3 windows, timberframed roughcast house with black
plinth, facing W. Steep old red tile hipped roof with bellcast
and moulded eaves cornice, large central chimney one third from N
end and rear lateral chimney to S room. 3-unit plan with
entrance now into N room near corner. 2 storeys timberframed
weatherboarded rear extension with lean-to pantiled roof. 3
windows on each floor at front. C18, 2-light small paned
casements with iron opening lights to 1st floor. Larger 3-light
small paned casements with boarded external shutters to Ground
floor. Heavy door frame with moulded architrave and dripboard on
shaped brackets. Interior has thin exposed studs and beams.
Formerly 3 cottages. Part of picturesque group at Pye Corner.
