House. Early C19. Brick colourwashed with plastered upper
floor. Gabled red tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic 3-window
house in the style of a C17 farmhouse facing E. Wide front jetty
on heavy carved corner brackets with moulded wooden band and
plastered soffit. 2-light casement windows. Square, single
storey roughcast flat-topped enclosed porch with moulded wooden
cornice and'half.-glazed double doors. Single storey canted bay
window with French doors at S end. 2 tall internal red brick
chimneys rising through ridge with ornamental tile cresting.
Symmetrical N gable with moulded wooden band carried across,
canted small bay with tiled roof, 3-light window on 1st floor and
2-light in apex of gable. 2 storeys flat-roofed brick rear
extension with trellis-sided open porch with steep gabled tiled
roof and cusped bargeboards. An interesting C19 farmhouse,
little-altered. Part of a picturesque group with Spellers
