Block of 2 houses. Mid C19 (but not on Tithe Map of 1842 (HRO)).
A tall roughcast 2 storeys H-plan block of 2 estate houses facing
E. Steep old red tile gabled roofs with heavy chamfered
bargeboards and finials to the 2 projecting gables. Roof of the
short centre part extended down as a porch now enclosed. A large
gabled shared dormer in the middle has similar bargeboards and
finial. 3 large cruciform central chimneys in red brick. Door
and small window in central part. 3-light wooden casement
windows, transomed on Ground floor. 2 2-light windows to
dormers. Modern casement windows to No 1. An interesting pair
of picturesque -mid C19 estate houses. Part of a picturesque
group with Nos 5 and 7 at the beginning of the Conservation Area.
