Block of 2 houses. Probably C17 extended forward in early C19
(shown on Tithe Map of.1839). Timber frame plastered. A block
of 2 2-storeys houses with a narrow steep pitched tiled roof to
the rear of a wider flatter pitched slate roof with a large grey
brick central chimney on its ridge. Trim eaves with ogee gutter.
1 window to each floor of each house. Doors remote from back-to-
back fireplaces. Flush box sash windows with 6/6 panes. Half-
glazed doors later. Modern lean-to single storey plastered
extension on N end. An older village house extended and made
into 2 houses in early C19. Part of a picturesque group in this
part of the Conservation Area.
