House. Early C18, extended N in late C19, S end part heightened
in 1929, modern rear extension. A small timberframed plastered
one and a half storeys house with C19 red brick facing to front
on W now carried up as a dormer on its N half. Old red tiled
steeply pitched gabled roof. Former gable chimney at N now
central to range extended in red brick in late C19 with same roof
height but lower Ground Floor giving 2 storeys. Central chimney
to this later range. Irregular placing of mullioned timber
casement windows, 3-light below but 4-light in front dormer.
Rectangular leaded glazing. Interior has chamfered axial beam
and fire lintel in S end with exposed squared joints. Art
Nouveau cast iron fireplaces in N part. An historic timberframed
house.
