Bridge Cottage

C16 or earlier cottage, timber framed, plastered and part weatherboarded,
thatched with semicircular work over the outshuts at either end. One storey
and attics, early metal casement windows, moulded and decorated front entrance
door frame. Three dormers on southern elevation. Modern single storey
entrance lobby. Interior lightly restored, chamfered and stopped main beams
and joists in area of probable 'former hall'. Fragmentary evidence of original
crown post and collar roof.
