Probably originally ascribable to the first half of the sixteenth century,
(J T Smith), the date 1677 is inscribed on the rear entrance porch. Timber
framed and plastered, tiled roof. Two storeys and attics, cross wing at
south-east end with the gable projecting on the north-west side. Some two
and some three-light leaded casements, one gabled dormer to the north-west
elevation of the main block. Three chimney stacks, each with three square
