House. C17 altered in early C19. Timber frame on stuccoed sill,
roughcast with red tile roofs and box eaves. An L-shaped, low, 2 storeys
house facing N with rear wing at SE. Originally a 3-cells, 1½ storeys,
internal chimney plan house, walls heightened to 2 full storeys, W bay
added with lower plinth and probably gabled rear wing with end chimney
added. 4 windows N front with 2-light, small pane, flush casements in
moulded surrounds. Windows taller on Ground Floor. Separate door to E
room next E end of house, chimney between this room and hall with
central door up 2 steps with moulded surround. Boarded rear door
opposite with lean-to porch flanked by 2-light casement. Separate door
to kitchen wing and 2- and 3-light C19 casement windows. (Bailey
(1980)23).
