11/53 Burton Garth


House. Early C19. Timber frame on black stucco plinth, roughcast with
steep thatched roof. A small 2-storeys house facing W with 2 cells,
central door and N end internal gable chimney in red brick serving
Ground Floor only. W front has 2 windows to each floor. 2-light flush
casement windows to 1st Floor, and rectangular 2-light oriel windows
below linked by a hipped red tiled pentile roof sheltering the door.
Lean-to rear extension. Side-purlin roof with dripboard across S gable
lodged on ends of wallplates.
