House. C17 or earlier, S bay C18, brick front late C18. Timber frame on
brick sill roughcast with grey Gault brick front facing and steep half
hipped old red tile roofs. 2 storeys and cellar. 3-cells, T plan house
facing W. 3 windows wide parapeted W front with 3-light leaded casements
recessed under segmental arches. Large chimney at junction of rear wing
with front range. N end originally a 2-bay crosswing orientated E-W with
2-bay hall adjoining to S with framed S wall. Roof reconstructed as for
a single range. Chamfered axial beams support floors. Clasped purlin
roof remains in rear wing.
