Great Hormead

11/87 St. Anne's Cottage


House. Late C17, E end bay C18/C19. Timber frame on black stucco plinth,
roughcast with steep thatched roof. A 1 ½-storeys, 3-cells,
internal-chimney plan house facing S with E end chimney and later E
extension with lower plinth. Main chimney between W room and hall. 4
windows front with door in middle and swept dormer window at eaves.
3-light flush wooden small pane casements to W part and 2-light to E
part and dormer. Battened door up steps. Side-purlin roof.
