Barn, now a house. C18, converted to house c.1830, extended c.1962.
Timber frame on brick plinth, plastered with weatherboard apron at E
end. Plastered low extensions at front and rear. Steep old red tile roof
continued at lower pitch over extensions. Central red brick chimney. A
1½ storeys house set back from street facing N, formerly a barn to Hall
House (q.v.). Symmetrical 2 windows front with central door. Small paned
casement. Interior has framework exposed showing original conversion to
2 1½-storeys houses with shared chimney and stairs in outer rear corners
with cross-beam and axial bridging beam to each handed plan. (Jackson
(1983)16).
