House. C17 or earlier. Timber frame on red brick plinth stuccoed at
front, roughcast with dark weatherboard apron and E gable. W gable
plastered and lined as ashlar. Steep old red tile roofs with half-hipped
rear wing. A 1½-storeys, 3-cells, internal chimney, lobby entry plan
house facing N with single-flue red brick chimney a third from E end and
in line with door. Plastered and tiled rear lean-to with weatherboard
apron and tiled and plastered rear extension at SW. 3 windows front with
gabled dormer at eaves. 2-light flush Yorkshire sliding casements.
6-panel door (2 glazed: 2 moulded: 2 flush bead) under flat hood on
shaped brackets. (Jackson (1983)15).
