Barn. C16 with late C17 roof structure. Timber frame on brick sill, dark
weatherboarded with steep thatched roof half-hipped at N. A 4-bay
structure with N gable end to street and entrance now by double doors in
S end with small boarded pitching door in gable over. Interior has heavy
wall studs, curved tension bracing and jowled bay posts of a 4-bay
structure, re-roofed in C17 with a 2-bay, butt-purlin, collar truss
roof. Included for group value.
