House. C17 or earlier, raised to 2 storeys in early C19. Timber frame on
brick sill, plastered. Frame exposed on N gable during building
operations in 1984. Roof of asbestos slates. 2-storeys, 2-cells plan
house on street front facing W. Entrance into S part between 2 windows.
External gable chimney to S part: rear wall chimney to N part. Ground
floor front windows tall margin-light sashes with smaller sash windows
close under eaves to 1st floor. Panelled margin-light front door with
weatherhood on brackets. N extension not of special interest. Included
for group value.
