GV II

Barn. C17. Timber frame on red brick sill, dark weatherboarded with a
steep quarter-hipped roof now of corrugated iron. A tall 5-bay aisled
barn facing N with swept roofed double doors in middle. Jowled posts
with long curved braces to tie-beams and arcade plates. Sills project
across aisles to support arcade posts. No jowls to aisle posts. Clasped
purlin roof with collar trusses. Face-halved bladed scarf joints in
arcade plates.
