Farm buildings, one now a village hall. C17 and C18. Timber frames on
red brick sills, dark weatherboarded, and steep old red tile roofs, S
stable hipped at W and half-hipped at E. A large U-shaped contiguous
group on N, W and S sides of a yard to W of house. W side composed of 2
barns facing E, each with a projecting gabled E porch in the 2nd bay
from the junction of the Barns. S barn is Fanshaw's Room, presented to
village as village hall. Public entrance in S gable. N stable lower,
facing S, with stable doors and small windows. S stable has loft, W part
an extension, and may have housed a forge.
