TL 469 137:6/37
C17, 6-bay barn timberframed and weatherboarded. Gabled red pantile roof.
Brick base renewed and some brick nogging behind weatherboarding. Lean-to
against N end. Large double doors in 2nd and 5th bays on W side. Each
door divided horizontally like stable doors. Projecting bays on E side
opposite doors. Roof structure renewed in C19.

Adjoining to S, C18, 3-bay timberframed implement shed. Steep red pantiled
roof half hipped to S. Open to W and S with weatherboarded rear aisle under
flatter roof. Long straight braces from posts to wall plate and arcade
plate. Short elbow braces to tie beams. Stepped splayed scarf joint in
plates over each post. Slender timbers in clasped purlin roof. Good series
of carpenter's assembly marks on frame. Picturesque group.
