C17 rear range with parallel C18 front range. 2 storey timberframed house
plastered on N W and S but weatherboarded on E. Steep half hipped roofs now
slated. Longer rear range on W has a large central chimney, 4 windws on
1st floor in 2 pairs. C19, 2 light 2 paned wood casements set flush.
C19, 2 and 4 light transomed casements to Gd floor. Front to S in higher
C18 front range with internal gable chimney on W. Modern external gable
chimney to E. 3 window symmetrical front 2 pretty flush sash windows with
6/6 panes, Gothic pointed heads and interlaced glazing bars, either side
of wide C19 projecting 2 storey gabled porch. Open arched wooden frame
below but enclosed by plainer Gothic casements above. Gd floor windows
are, on W side, C18 Gothic sash window with 6/6 panes, on E side 3 light
sash window with 2/2:6/6:2/2 panes. All the C18 Gothic windows have proejecting
drip moulds. 4 panel door upper 2 glazed with moulded architrave. Picturesque.
