Late C18. Symmetrical pair of 2 storey mill houses under steep hipped roof,
now slated and pebbledashed. Black brick base and probably timberframed.
Red brick chimneys central to each half. C19 flush wooden casements, each
light divided horizontally. Plank doors in heavy frames up two steps and
set near corner and against 3 light casement window. Early workers'
housing for Sawbridgeworth Mill.
