C18 plastered timber-framed house, old red tile roof. Two storeys and 3 windows on
east. Door with moulded architrave. Two C19 casements on north, other windows
modern. North end (No 41) probably an adition to earlier house. Interior No 39 has
early C18 bolection moulded fireplace in front room.
