Farmhouse. Early C17, S and W sides cased in brick in early C19.
Timber frame on plastered brick sill. N wing framing exposed
with plastered panels below, painted brick nogging above and
weatherboarding to gable. C17 brickwork in N single-storey
outshut possibly a former separate kitchen. Red brick facing to
S front and W wing. Plastered N outshut. Steep old red tile
roofs, hipped on S range. A 2-storeys L-shaped house facing S.
3-unit central-chimney plan with tall moulded C17 chimney serving
hall and parlour at W. 4 windows front with recessed sash
windows with 4/8 panes to upper floor, 8/8 panes to ground floor
with segmental arches. Recessed pilastered doorcase within C20
gabled glazed porch. Casement window to N wing with side-purlin
roof.
