8/6 Barnacres


House. C17, extended late C17. Timber frame roughcast over
plastered plinth. Steep old red tile roof. 2-room end chimneys,
plan house extended to S with a further gable chimney. 2
storeys, 3 windows long. Flush 3-light casement windows with
smooth plaster margins. Wooden casements with Arts and Crafts
cross pattern of glazing bars. C19 timber porch shelters plank
door with studs. Similar door next S corner adjoining window.
