GV II

House with 2 shops, one shop now in domestic use. Early C19.
Timber-frame roughcast with low pitched slate roof. N end wall
of painted brick. Set back from road facing E. 2 storeys,-3
windows on upper floor. Flush box sash windows with 3/3 panes.
N part on right is a butchers shop on ground floor with simple
window, 6-panel reused early 618 door to left of window and
external gable chimney. In the middle a large early C19 oriel
bow former shop window, with bellied front, small panes and
entablature with faceted frieze. Contemporary 6-panel flush
beaded door on right in moulded doorcase. Rectangular bay with
triple French windows in S part. Fixed canopy with cuspea edging
on posts to shop.
