GV II

House. C16, altered in C18. Timber frame roughcast, N side
cased in red brick, weatherboarded upper floor to main range on
S. Old red tile roof. T-plan, 2 storeys house of main range and
E crosswing, projecting only to S. Casement windows. Lean-to S
extension. Large central chimney at junction of wing with main
range. Entrance from S. The oldest surviving building on the
site of a Preceptory of the Templars.
