6/7 Nos 7, and 9


House, now 2 houses. C18. Timber frame roughcast on a brick
plinth with sidewalls weatherboarded on ground floor. Slate roof
carried down at rear over contemporary outshut. 2 storeys and 3
windows long. C19 2-light flush casement windows on 1st floor.
2 similar windows on ground floor and C19 former shop window in
middle. 3 doors (2 for No 9) each with 2 steps and moulded
surround. The outer doorways have a full entablature with frieze
decorated with a lozenge pattern, and modillioned cornice.
Central chimney to left part and axial chimney on rear wall of
right hand part. Included for group value.
