House, now house with shop. Later C17, refaced c1800. Timber
frame plastered with fan pargetting and plain band to openings
and under eaves. Stucco plinth. Steep old red tiled roofs. L-
plan house with stair turret in angle with rear wing. Gable
chimneys to front range facing E. Symmetrical C18 3 windows, 2
storeys front has triple flush sash windows on upper floor each
side of narrower sash window with 6/6 panes over door. Ground
floor has flush sash window with 8/8 panes to right of door and
late C19 projecting shop front to left with brick base, hipped
shallow roof and glazed shop door. Main door up 3 steps, 6
panelled with glazed top panels and moulded doorcase with full
entablature. High-set purlins in side-purlin roof, as if for
attics.
