2 adjacent houses. C17, refronted in early C19. Timber frame
roughcast with painted brick ground floor and plinth. Steep old
red tiled roofs. Long rear wing to No 74 with brick and flint
ground floor and dark weatherboarded upper floor. 2 storeys
front 5 windows long irregularly spaced. Flush box sash windows
in moulded surrounds with 8/8 panes. 2 doors, one panelled and
half-glazed, boarded door to No 70, in moulded doorcases with
small flat hoods on shaped brackets. Sash windows and early C20
windows with small panes in upper sash but 2 large panes in the
lower.
