House, now 2 houses. Late C16, divided in C18. Timber frame
weatherboarded, front roughcast with steep old red tile roof.
C18 plastered shallow front single-storey kitchen extension with
gabled slate roof and shared central red brick chimney rising up
front of house. Central-chimney 3-unit plan house facing N.
Jowled posts, heavy curved braces to tie beams and heavy queen-
strut and purlin roof of one long bay on E and 2 bays on W of
chimney. Central partition on 1st floor and position of chimneys
to rear of ridge suggest an earlier timber framed chimney. Doors
in lean-to front porches. Casement windows.
