(80m to SSE of farmhouse)

Granary. C17 or earlier. Timber frame weatherboarded, with very
steep pitched roof now of corrugated iron. A small one and a
half storeys, 2-bay building with an exceptionally heavily
constructed upper floor structure of chamfered and stopped beams
both across and axial, and close spaced joists pegged in
position. Originally a collar-rafter single-framed roof -
converted to a side purlin roof later. Upper floor window at S
gable has head mortices for a 4-light diamond mullioned window.
Faces W with gabled dormer in roof and double doors which are a
later insertion. Red brick skin to S gable.
