Barn. Late C17, roof C19. Timber frame on red brick sill,
weatherboarded with black corrugated roof. A 3-bay, single-
aisled barn facing N. Gabled porch projects on N beyond the
aisle. Double doors in porch: small winnowing door on S. 3-bay
C19 shelter shed as lean-to on S. Unusually long bays each with
a central unjowled post. Mid-height rails tenoned in-line.
Straight tension-braces above rail. Heavy jowled bay-posts and
long straight braces to tie beams and arcade plate. Aisle wall
heightened in c19. Queen-strut roof. Face halved bladed scarf
joints in arcade plate. Interior has been plastered on laths.
