2 houses, now one. C17 or earlier, S house C18 or early C19.
Timber frame with weatherboarded front and roughcast N end with
weatherboarded apron. Steep hipped thatched roof continued over
red brick and flint smaller S house with half-hipped S end. One
and a half storeys, facing E, set back from road. 3 large gabled
thatched front dormers and one at N end. Others at rear. Older
part appears to have a 3-unit, central-chimney, lobby-entry plan.
Smaller S house has a door, window on RH, and a chimney next the
house. This has a boarded door a casement window to the LH and 2
to RH. Small-paned cast iron flush casement windows, N window
renewed in wood. Pantiled weatherboarded outhouse at NW.
