Barn. Early C18, altered in early C19. Timber frame on stepped
red brick sill, dark weatherboarded with roof now slated. An
unusually wide-span 7-bay tall unaisled barn facing N. Opposed
double doors in middle bay. Unjowled posts and long curved
braces to tie-beams. Mid-height rails tennoned in-line. Single
purlin to each slope of queen-struts and collar roof.
