House. Late C17. C19 service wing to SW. Timber frame with
stuccoed plinth. Roughcast front but panelled pargetting at
rear. Painted brick low service wing. Old red tiled roof, half-
hipped at E, hipped at W adjoining short gabled kitchen wing. A
3-cell central-chimney plan lobby-entry house of 2 storeys and
attics facing N, SW kitchen wing with gable chimney. Single-
storey service wing prolongs kitchen wing to S and, projecting on
W, has a lean-to tiled porch to the kitchen door in the angle.
3 windows on N front to each storey. Flush casement 3-light
wooden windows. 2-light similar windows to 2 hipped dormers on
front roof slope. Large cruciform central red brick chimney in
line with door. 6-panel, raised and fielded door in moulded
doorcase with swelled frieze and moulded cornice with swept metal
roof over. Rear wall has 2 windows to each floor, a similar
dormer to the E of the chimney, and a bolection moulded 1st
floor window in line with the chimney. Porch to kitchen door has
Gothic pierced and moulded brackets.
