Barn, now tractor shed and lean-to shelter shed. Late C18,
shelter shed early C19. Timber frame weatherboarded barn on red
brick sill (renewed) with steep roof now slated. Timber framed
shelter with posts along open front, weatherboarded ends and
slate roof continuing barn roof at lower pitch. 5-bay barn
facing N with lean-to on S side. Barn has double doorway on N
(blocked) and small winnowing door on S. Alternately jowled and
unjowled posts. Straight braces to tie-beams of queen strut
clasped-purlin roof. Each wall panel braced to centre. 5 bay
shelter shed with curved braces from posts to front wallplate.
C20 opening in W end of barn.
