Late C18 house of chequered blue and red brick dressed with red. Hipped
tiled roof behind panelled parapet and brick moulded cornice. 2 storeys,
5 sash windows with glazing bars in shallow reveals under flat arches.
Plinth, angle pilasters. Central 8 fielded panelled door and fanlight
with glazing bars in archivolt; 3 stone steps up. C19 shop front on right.

Nos 2 to 20 (even), 20A, 20B, 22, 22A, 24, to 32, (even) and 40 to 44 (even)
form a group.
