Early to mid C19. Former workhouse. Gault brick, hipped Welsh slated roof
with cornice. Neo-classical style. 3 storeys, 1st floor stone band. Central
recess to upper floors. 2:1:2 sash windows with glazing bars ; ground floor
architrave surrounds, 1st floor cornices on consoles, 2nd floor flat arches.
Central portico in antis, stone with Doric pilasters, entablature, blocking
course. East side elevation has 2 ground floor canted bay windows with entablatures
on slim Doric pilasters. Interior: 2 segmental arches to hall.
