House, 1909, by B Parker and R Unwin. Roughcast over brick with chequer
brick plinth ; gabled plain tile roof ; brick stacks, with lateral stack
to right, rear end stack with bread oven projection and corner stack to rear
left. L-plan. One storey and attic ; 2-bay range with roof swept over lean-to
porch set to left of projecting gable end. Plank door with broad strap hinges,
Norfolk latch and knocker. Windows, of up to 5 lights, have leaded lights
with wrought - iron fittings set within smooth-plastered architraves and
mullions ; gabled dormer with 2-light window to right side wall ; full-width
windows flanking stack to rear gable. Interior : stick - baluster staircase
and plank doors with broad strap hinges.
