House, now 2 residences. C17 or earlier timber frame range at
right angles to road. Extended and refronted mid and late C19.
Painted brick. Plain tile and slate roofs. 2 storeys. E
elevation has 3 canted bay windows with glazing bar casements.
Gabled 2-storey addition at far end. Internally the house
comprises 3 bays with a substantial early C17 bay in the centre.
Nearest the road the upper floor shows late C17 framing with
straight braces and clasped purlin roof. Far bay possibly C16
construction. Exposed studwork on 1st floor contains long C17
balusters.
