(Flying Fox)


House, formerly an inn. C17 timber frame at rear. Front is
later C18 over a deep cellar. C19 slate hipped roof and sash
windows. Some chequered red brick. Square plan. 2 storeys. 2
windows, segmental headed to ground floor. Central door in C18
oak frame. Interior has large C18 inglenook fireplace. Some
exposed C17 framing.
