Hotel and public house. Early C19 (dated brick: IPA P9 1803). Red brick.
Gauged segmental window heads. Slate hipped roof. 2 storeys. Upper floor
has 7 regularly spaced sash windows with flush moulded frames. Door in
centre of ground floor with 2 glazed, 2 fielded and 2 flush panels.
Doorcase with fluted pilasters and dentilled pediment. Either side are 3
triple-hung sash windows. Plinth, floor band, dentilled brick eaves. On
W gable end are 2 large external stacks and 2 pedimented doorcases with
simple cut brackets, the doors part glazed. E end with 1 stack and 1
