GV II

House. C15-C16 hall house, extended at rear in late C17. Front range
heightened in C18. Timber frame. Plastered walls. Plain tile roof. 2
storeys. Upper floor has 2 C19 cast iron casements; ground floor with 2
margin-light sashes. Internally it is 3 bays, the right 2 built as an
open hall. Chimney stack added at right gable end in C17. Rear left
extension is 2 storeys and lower. Roughcast. Slate roof. 2 3-light
glazing bar casements. Central red brick ridge stack, internally with
attached stair. Front roof has king post. (RCHM Typerscript).
